Terms of Service

1. General

These Terms of Service («Terms») govern your use of the Shadow Chat service («Service»), including the Telegram bot and web mini application. By using the Service, you enter into a legally binding agreement with the Service operator («we», «us»).

If you do not agree with these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use anonymous chat, voice, and video features. If you are between 13 and 18, you may use the Service only with verifiable consent of a parent or legal guardian who accepts these Terms on your behalf.

The «Dating» section, if enabled, is available only to users aged 18 and older.

3. Service description

Shadow Chat provides anonymous matching for text, voice, and video conversations, optional friend links after mutual consent, optional dating profiles, and moderation tools. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, match quality, or identity of other users.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• share illegal, violent, hateful, sexually exploitative, or harassing content;
• spam, advertise, or distribute malware or phishing links;
• attempt to deanonymize, stalk, or dox other users;
• impersonate others or misrepresent your age;
• circumvent bans, rate limits, or security measures;
• record or redistribute conversations without consent where prohibited by law.

5. Moderation

We may review reports, restrict access, remove content, and permanently ban users at our discretion. Decisions may be automated or manual. We are not obliged to monitor all communications in real time.

6. Privacy

Processing of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. Anonymous chat does not require your real name; however, technical identifiers (session ID, Telegram ID if provided, IP logs for security) may be processed.

7. Disclaimer

The Service is provided «as is». To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties and limit liability for indirect damages, loss of data, or harm arising from interactions with other users. You use the Service at your own risk.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated via the bot or in-app notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

9. Contact

For legal inquiries and abuse reports, use the in-app «Report» function or contact the administrator through the official Telegram bot.
